The Panama Jack Show

I was born on March 8th, 1974 in San Leandro, CA. I grew up in Tracy, CA in the state's central valley. Dec. 2nd, 2009 marked 20 years I've been in radio broadcasting! I've never been married, no children....just a bachelor who lives on ramen and chinese delivery. In my spare time I enjoy road trips, though I'm mostly a home-body. I'm also the biggest video game geek you'll ever meet. My arcade collection consists of well over 10,000 games. I love hot tubs, classic movies, old tv shows, and of course classic rock n' roll!

Finally.... Our troops are coming home from Iraq! God bless our troops. Be sure to thank a soldier when you see one. They have the toughest job of all... for all of us.

I'm back! Thanks for ALL of your prayers. My dad's still in the ICU, but he's recovering well beyond expectations!!!! As the doctor's say, We're not out of the woods yet, but he is DEFINATELY getting better. I can't thank all of you enough for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers as well as all the kind phone calls. Thank you soooooooooo much!

Give Blood!

My father (who is 83) was ambulanced to the Girard ER yesterday in critical condition. He needed 4 units of blood badly. He is resting well- for now. Thank you to those of you who give blood. You literally saved my dad's life yesterday. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Star Trekkin'

Ok, so lately I've been watching lots of old Star Trek episodes. Relax! I'm not a "trekkie" as in I don't go to conventions or dress up or anything....I just really find it entertaining. I especially love the bs beyond the bs of it..... For example, we all know warp speed and transporting is bs, but I crack up everytime they visit a planet and the aliens amazingly look just like humans except for.....a unibrow or grey skin......oooooooo big difference. Plus, they all seem to speak perfect english. What... spanish didn't make it through the galaxy??? Ok, I'm a big geek. Could this be why I'm gonna remain single forever????????

Back from vacation and man did I need a break! Saw Paul McCartney in KC at the Sprint Center! AWESOME SHOW! He played for 3 solid hours and did all the hits- totally worthwhile show! I also got a chance to check out the Power & Light District. Forget Westport, P&L is the new place to party! It's good to be back though, I missed being on the air. Now ya gotta put up with me again! :)

One more day..... then it's off to Kansas City and Chicago with maybe a stop in Mexico somewhere in between... I'm on vacation next week. I'll be back Aug. 2nd with plenty of stories. Please stand by with bail money ready.

Today we say goodbye to George Steinbrenner, the man who turned The New York Yankees into an empire. He suffered a heart attack this morning and passed away at St. Joseph's hospital in Tampa, Florida. He had just celebrated his 80th birthday on July 4th. He will be missed.

So.... The US is now prosecuting 11(so far) alledged Russian spies found operating undercover in the U.S.????? Nice. We just established friendly ties with them, now we found spies. What is this...the Cold War all over again? Of course now, they're po'd at us. That's just great! Now how am I supposed to get that mail order bride without all the red tape!? I guess it's back to myspace and craigslist then.......

So.....There's a place in Amarillo Texas called The Big Texan Steak Ranch. This is the famous place where they serve a 72 ounce steak and if you can finish it in under an hour, it's free. If not, it's 72 bucks! The website is pretty cool! They've got webcams set up so you can see people trying to eat the massive meal. I'm telling ya now.... I COULD DO THIS!
